I thought that I was going to be left to purchase a full version of Acronis software or one of the other competitors to be able to clone my drive or use clonezilla which is quite complex. I saw a bunch more things searching this all out. The Acronis software would not run because it could not see the drive and confirm that it was a Crucial drive. See this video for a demonstration I had purchased a Crucial 1TB NVMe M.2 SSD and had purchased a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Plugable housing for it and connected it to my Lenovo T490 Thinkpad and then used the Crucial licensed version of Acronis.
